Day 1: Dar es Salaam – Saadani National Park

0830 pick up from DSM city center and depart for Saadani National Park. Hot lunch at the Lodge, In the afternoon game drive in Saadani National Park. Dinner and overnight Saadani Safari Lodge

Saadani has a diverse population of mammals and birds to keep you entertained. Also the southern boundary is marked by the navigable Wami River, which attracts fabulous birdlife as well as hippos, crocodiles and the beautiful black and white colobus monkey.

Day 2: Boat Safari in Saadani National Park

0630hrs Early morning game drive of Saadani National Park. 0900hrs return to the lodge for breakfast. Lighten up for the rest of the morning and have sumptuous lunch at lodge. In the afternoon savour the boat safari in Wami River. Dinner and overnight at Saadani Safari Lodge

This River is utterly perfect; boating over the ocean from the lodge and into the river is matchless. The river is rich with birdsong and the sounds of hippos with spectacular scenery.

Day 3: Village Tour in Saadani

0800 After breakfast, morning at leisure. 1200 Lunch at lodge. In the afternoon Saadani Village tour. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 4: Saadani National Park – Dar es Salaam

0800 After breakfast, walking safari through the woods. At 1200 lunch at lodge. 1400 Depart for Dar es salaam . Arrive late evening.
