MIKUMI NATIONAL PARK SAFARI


Mikumi National Park is the fourth largest park in Tanzania and covers over 3,200 square kilometers in size. As a result, 3 days Mikumi safari is one of the most famous Mikumi National Park safari in the south of Tanzania.

Day 1: Dar es Salaam – Mikumi National Park

After, pick up from DSM city center, proceed to south of Dar es Salaam, along the Tanzania / Zambia Highway with picnic lunch, Afternoon game drive of Mikumi National Park. Dinner and overnight at Vuma Hills Tented Camp/ Tan-Swiss Lodge (L,D)

With 3,230 square kilometers coverage Mikumi National Park is well-known park in Tanzania. The park is well-known for its population of elephants, giraffes buffaloes, zebras, elands, greater Kudu, wildebeest, roan and sable antelope. Predators include tree-climbing lions (which are in large number), leopards, wild hunting dogs and black-backed jackal. More than 300 species of birds have been recorded here including Eurasian migrants such as red billed oxpecker, marabou stork and lilac breasted roller.

Day 2: Game Drive in Mikumi National Park (Mikumi Safari)

After breakfast, full day game drive of the park Lunch at Hippo pool picnic site Dinner and overnight at Vuma Hills Tented Camp/ Tan-Swiss Lodge (B,L,D)

Day 3: Mikumi National Park – Dar es Salaam

After a morning game drive through the Mikumi National Park with picnic lunch. Afternoon, return to Dar es Salaam City (B,L).
